PIS- Zundal provides a unique learning experience through a wide selection of cultural activities. Taking part in activities provides an outlet for creativity and the possibility of moving outside ones comfort zone in an enjoyable and structured environment.
Western Music
Students are trained in vocal as well as instrumental western music as part of performing arts. It is a very popular medium among the young generation to connect with the global world and spread harmony. Students are skilled in instruments like Keyboard, Piano, and Drum.
Indian Vocal Music
Classical and light music is imparted to students as a part of co-curricular activity. Various Raagas like Bhupali, Bhairav, Yaman etc along with theory is taught to students. Bhajans, Ghazals, Patriotic song, Regional songs etc are part of light music. Over the years students have taken this art to National and International levels.
Tabla
Students are taught how to extensively use fingers and palms in various configurations to create a wide variety of different sounds and rhythms. They are trained in different Taals to accompany other vocal and musical instruments. Our students and teachers have also set a Guinness World Record, RHR, India Book of Records, Limca Book of Records and World Amazing Records in nonstop playing Tabla for 1 hour 15 minutes and 10 seconds with a group of 315 musicians on 29th April, 2011 at Shreyas Foundation Open Air Theater, Ahmedabad.
Contemporary Dance
Students are imparted skilled training to combine the strong and controlled legwork of ballet with modern dances. They are trained in a fusion of Indian and western contemporary dance forms.
Western Dance
The school has excellent facilities and faculty for developing dance skills. Students, girls as well as boys, enjoy participating in various forms of western dance. Choreography is the most awaited competition on the campus.
